About:: Twilight Sparkle started out in Canterlot. At that time all she cared about were her studies. Then in the first episode of My Little Pony Princess Celestia sent Twilight to Ponyvill with her assistant spike the dragon to supervise preparations for the summer sun celebration and most importantly,..... make some friends. Soon she met her friends that helped her defeat Nightmare Moon, turned her back into Princess Luna and reunite her with her big sister Princess Celestia. Twilight represents the element of magic. In season 3 episode 13 (Magical Mystery Cure), Twilight's friends' destines changed because of a spell a powerful unicorn named Star swirl the Bearded made . Twilight found a way to get her friends back to the way they are suppose to be. Then she fixed the spell by writing, "From all together, together we are friends, with the marks of our destines made one, There is magic without end. Then a huge flash of light appeared and Princess Celestia started to sing and when Twilight was back in ponyvill she was an alicorn. Later in the season finale of season 4 Twilight defeats a very evil monster named Tirek who tries to steal the powers of earth ponies, pegasi and unicorns. Then he goes to steal the powers of Princess Celesia, Luna and Cadence, not knowing that all three of them transferred their powers to Twilight. She gets the last key needed to open the chest from Discord and the mane 6 get a special power that people are calling, "The Rainbow Power," to give all 3 types of ponies back their powers. Soon after Twilight gets a new home (because The Golden Oak Library was blown up by Tirek,) so twilight gets a castle and takes on the title of The Princess of Friendship.
