- A long time ago in the distant past, lived 4 ponies who were apart of a magical school. Each one of them possessed a strong magic power, the power of the 4 wandering crystals. It was the key to keeping Equestria safe from the legion of shadows, far worse than any villain ever to come. They were kept locked in a Underground cave ever since the first ponies settled on earth. There power was so strong it was too hard to defeat, magic wasn't known well back then. But the power of the 4 ponies who were able to defeat them using the 4 crystals were Known as the greatest heroes of all time. But once they had past they left their souls inside the crystals, and they became lost in the ruins. Ever since that day the power of the crystals has been becoming weaker and weaker. The ponies of Gem academy have noticed the breaking free of the dark forces and the 4 ponies are assigned to retrieve the 4 crystals and defeat the forces once and for all.
