About:: Cardinal Illusion is a Unicorn pony. His cutie mark is a Kyanite gem surrounded by a white circle symbolizing the moon. This is because this type of gem is linked to lucid dreaming. He got his cutie mark as he knows a spell which allows pony's and other creatures to see hallucinations. This is a special spell to him.
He grew up in Canterlot and was pushed to become a royal guard, however that is not what he wanted to do so he ran away and made his own life.
