directions on how to use -
step 1: you will need a photo editing or manipulation software or drawing program of some kind (such as photoshop, but free options are krita, gimp, paint.net, etc...)
step 2: download the base.
step 3: open your editing/drawing software and upload the skin.
step 4: select the skin (skin ONLY).
step 5: make a new layer, and change the blending mode to 'color'.
step 6: choose the color you would like to make your pony, then fill in the area. merge that layer with the bottom layer. edit the saturation, hue, lightness, etc so it looks how you want.
step 7: clean up.
step 8: rinse and repeat for the hair.
step 9: come back to the pony skincraft website, and then add your details and finishing touches. tip - use the tool that looks like a pan (idk what it's called lol) to shade and blend stuff. switch between the two options! the hand darkens colors, and the pan lightens them.
step 10: name, description, publish.
