SS is a filly from the time when Luna and Celestia were young. She hid from them, not knowing whether they were nice or not. She was an orphan, and she had nowhere to go. But she one day found a pony who understood her, Mayor Icoid of Stallionstone. Icoid adopted Shimmering as her own, and raised her. Because it took many years for her to travel to Stallionstone, alicorns were rare, and she had to be kept hidden away from the world. But one day, she found her destiny. She would take place for a soon-to-be princess, princess Luna.
