- Silk Quilt lived in Ponyville for most of his life. He was born and raised there. As a young child, he looked forward to more than playing, but spelling casting. Even though he practiced a lot, he occasionally made a few mishaps. One day, after preschool, he somehow managed to turn his oily, jet black hair white. The next day nopony recognized him.
Anyway, later in his lifespan, he got many degrees in topics such as magic and engineering. Because of such knowledge, he became a very famous pony during the time he lived. He once even was considered by Luna and Celestia to become one of the alicorns.
The children where awed when they heard the news that Silk Quilt had done something than he ever did before, make a machine come to life.
Sadly, the next day the changeling invasion happened and his secrets were forever lost.
There is still plenty debate on what happened during the invasion, what his name meant, and why he never earned his cutie mark...
