A year and a half later he was the established leader in non-pony expansion. Trouble arouse when the Lightning Quest gryphon empire attacked. While a small division of gryphons they were, the uproar they cause did a deal of damage. Now real ponies are apposed to gryphons. Borders remain open, but it would only be temporary. With the new threat of revealing the existence of his secret society, the stake of his being is now in jeopardy.
